Case Managers

Case Managers also serve a crucial role in coordinating services spanning the mental health system and other relevant systems, including those within criminal justice, developmental support, and addiction services. Fundamental to this process is the cultivation of a compassionate and supportive relationship between the client and the case manager, and where applicable, the inclusion of the client’s family and support network.

Our approach to mental health care incorporates numerous standard case management services available in other mental health agencies, but it is set apart by its firm commitment to an anti-racist and anti-oppression framework.

Settlement Counseling.

Our settlement counseling services are designed to support newcomers and racialized individuals as they navigate their journey of settling in Ontario. We provide culturally sensitive guidance to help individuals overcome challenges related to immigration, integration, and building a new life in a welcoming community.

Family or Individual Counseling.

At Supportive Alliance, we offer counseling services tailored to both individuals and families. Our compassionate counselors are here to help you address various issues, enhance your well-being, and strengthen family bonds, fostering resilience within our communities.

Community Case Management.

Our community case management services aim to empower individuals facing mental health, violence, and legal issues. Our dedicated case managers work closely with clients to provide the necessary support, coordination of services, and resources needed to stabilize and thrive within the community.

Recovery Services and Medication Monitoring.

We offer comprehensive recovery services, including medication monitoring, to help individuals on their path to recovery. Our goal is to support individuals in achieving their recovery goals and improving their quality of life.

Housing Support.

Supportive Alliance case managers support racialized individuals who are facing persistent homelessness to move from the street to a place where they can call home. Supportive Alliance collaborates with national housing and health care projects to ensure racialized individuals who are experiencing mental health and other challenges are sheltered appropriate and adequately.

Vision

Our vision is to create a safe space for equal access and to promote empowerment, Resilience and self-advocacy. We strive to ensure equal access to mental health services and support for all, regardless of race, or ethnicity. We provide culturally sensitive case management counselling, advocacy and legal support, and settlement services for individuals experiencing racial discrimination. We promote healing, resilience, and self-advocacy, advocating for systemic change to eradicate racial health disparities.
